Great day today!

We had a really great day today. The day started out pretty slow. We watched Stewart Little and Princess and the Frog with Brenna. We also had some dancing time! Bubby has really started to dance the minute he hears music, its adorable. Of course Brenna danced in true rocker style! Then Brenna and I headed to the Moline to do some shopping. I had planned to go to Toys r us, party supply store, walmart, and Kohl's, but we only made it to TRU. Wyatt and Bubby would have went, but Bubby fell asleep on the floor watching Yo Gabba Gabba 10 minutes before we were leaving.

This is how I found him.

He had found his Sissy's leftover ring pop and went to town on it! The ring pop was still in his other hand, I guess he thought he would save it for when he woke up! :) Brenna and I had a great time at TRU. They were having an awesome sale on Fisher Price toys! I can't wait for Bubby to open up his gifts! Brenna also got a new BIKE! Her first real bike! I can't believe how well she can ride it! She rode it all over the store "testing" it out. It's a Tinkerbell one and its so girly! She loves it, and watching her ride it makes me so proud!

She had to ride it the minute we got home!

Yes, I got her a helmet! It's also tinkerbell.

So cute! She was so proud of herself!

Bubby riding his "new" 4-wheeler! Sorry bud...sometimes you're gonna get the hand-me downs.

He's so close to being able to push the button by himself. I'm sure he'll get the hang of it in the next month or so. And yes he has a hat on top of his hood. It's a cubs hat. We were so excited to put it on him! lol

GREAT day today! :-)

ChuckE Cheese and Monkey Joe's!

A couple weekends ago we, along with Grandma, Grandpa, Krista, Rayden, and Ryan, went to ChuckE Cheese and Monkey Joe's! It was the best time! Monkey Joe's is now a FAVORITE and we are planning to go again soon.

Bubby wasn't really feeling ChuckE Cheese. Luckily, Grandma had no problem holding him the whole time!

Climbing up the really tall slide!

Collier just finished going down the slide!

Daddy and Bubby!

Enjoying the beautiful weather!

Spring has sprung! We've gotten lucky and had some really beautiful days! We've been playing outside, going for walks, and going to the park as much as we can!

Here are some pictures from our first park adventure of the year! Krista, Ray-Ray, and Grandma also came. We had a blast!

Collier was a little weary of walking on the equipment. I think it bothered him that he could see down to the ground.

He LOVED the swings!

My babies swinging together!

Collier loved walking around and making us chase him!

Sliding! They must of went down the slides 100 times!

Grandma trying to slow B down!

I cleaned out my car, so of course Brenna and Collin thought they needed to drive!

An update on my favorite little girl!

Brenna is doing great! She learns about 100 new things a day....well...it seems like that! In Feb. she learned how to spell her name. Her teachers were really impressed, and couldn't believe that she could spell it.

A couple days ago, Wyatt accidentally deleted all of B's shows on the DVR. This meant no more Spider-man 2 or 3. She was pretty mad about it. Luckily, Spider-man 3 was on again and we were able to record it. At least we were able to have a couple days of no Spider-Man! Now she's just missing Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Tinkerbell, etc. Wyatt told her we would just go buy those movies for her.

She is doing great helping take care of Carly! She also continues to help out with Bubby. We are really ready for spring to come, she needs to get outside and play!

She's really into puzzles right now. She loves to doing actual puzzles or ones on the internet. She's really good at them too!

We found out that she's lactose intolerant, which I had suspected for about 5 months. She was having quite a bit of issues when she drink milk, but now she's good to go as long as she drinks her "special milk".

We recently started a reward jar for her. We got a small vase and those stones things that are in centerpieces and beta fish vases. She gets a stone for doing good things like: helping with Carly or her brother, picking up her toys, going potty by herself (she likes to make her dad take her). And then of course we take one away for bad things. Once she fills the jar up or gets so many stoens (haven't figured out for sure) then she gets a treat. She chose a movie, so hopefully a good movie will be out! She loves getting a stone, and of course she freaks out if one gets taken away. I'm hoping this helps with her fit throwing.

Thursday, I'm suprising her by taking her to Storytime Live. Dora, Backyardigans, Ni Hao, and Wonder Pets are the acts that are coming. Krista and Ray-Ray are coming with, so I know she'll have a blast!

Carly

On March 1st we got a new puppy!

My Mom asked me if I would go pick up a puppy for her, since she had to work. I agreed and took the kiddos with me. Brenna picked out the puppy for Mimi, but when we got in the car she was hysterical! She was extremely upset that we were leaving the other puppy. She said the other puppy was scared and sad that she was all alone. :( I couldn't take how upset Brenna was. So....I called the lady and told her I wanted the other puppy. So now we have Carly! Brenna named her Carly from iCarly, and she often calls her Carly Shae (Carly's full name on the show).

She's doing really good with her! She helps feed her, put her in the potty box, and she just loves cuddling her! I was regretting my decision for a couple days, but now I'm so glad we got her. Anything to make my baby girl happy!
Collier likes to try to kill her. :( He thinks that he can do what he does to Lola to Carly. He constantly grabs her and lays on her. We have to watch him with her because he could really hurt her.
Lola is really cute with her. She acts like Carly's her little puppy! It's a lot of fun to watch them play together.

Collier is 11 months!!!!

And the countdown is on for the 1st birthday!

I think the biggest thing that has changed in the last month is that, Collier is walking, and almost running. On 2/6 he pretty much just took of walking and he's non-stop now!

I also started him on whole milk....GASP....yes I did this early. He wasn't wanting to take formula and he was spitting up constantly, so I started giving him milk and he's doing great with it! He still BF at night, but he no longer nurses during the day. He still takes a couple bottles (of milk). It's hard to wean him from bottles when Daddy's around so I'll be working on this in the next couple weeks.

He's still waking up about once at night, not a big deal. He nurses and goes right back to sleep. He has started waking up very early (5:30-6). That kind of stinks and makes for some tired days. He is usually taking 1 nap a day and he goes to bed about 7.

He weighs about 22lbs and wears 12-18 month clothing. His sleepers are still 9 months, and they seem to be fitting just fine. He's in size 4 diapers, and he wears a size 5 shoe....yes...he has huge feet.

He had his first medicine required illness this month. He had a very red throat and fluid in his lungs, so Dr. Marc (our new doctor) prescribed and antibiotic and cough medicine. He's doing good now, and is almost 100%.

He now has 4 teeth!

New words: hi, here, go, come. He likes to tell Lola to GOOOO, and he was pounding on the bed today telling Carly (our new puppy) to COME! haha!

He continues to be a bottomless pit! I can't keep the kid full!

When people leave the house, he walks to the front door waving and sometimes say "bye"! It's cute but also kind of sad. He seems to be sad if his sister leaves without him.

He was also trying to jump today. Obviously his feet didn't go off the ground but he was making the motion. Wyatt would say JUMP and Collier would try. He saw Brenna jumping and instantly started making the motion. He wants so bad to do what Sissy does.

What else!?! I know I have to be forgetting something! He's just such a happy little boy and he brings so much happiness to our lives. He makes us laugh everyday! He's kind of a little brute and loves to wrestle with Brenna, and wins quite often! He has a thing for pulling hair, and Brenna often has to deal with this.

I have a couple more post to write! I've been so busy with grad school, the kids, and painting the house! Hopefully, I'll find some more time write!
